Event Description:
Roane Aquatics will hold a Cow Paddy Drop fundraiser at The Henry/Stafford East Tennessee Agricultural Exposition Center located at Roane State Community College on Tuesday, February 28. The fun will begin at 5 p.m.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $5 per square and will be on sale until the cow paddy drops or all tickets are sold. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling (865) 809-9414. The lucky winner will receive a Yeti Hooper 30 cooler. Funds raised for the event will be used toward enclosing the Rockwood Community Center swimming pool. Thus far, Roane Aquatics has raised $14k toward their goal of $100k. The City of Rockwood will match the $100k through a grant.
Once the project is completed the local community will be able to enjoy using the pool year-round. Also Roane State students will have the opportunity to take swimming classes for credit year-round.
