Dennis Ferguson Fishing Rodeo for Kids & Seniors

The 26th annual Dennis Ferguson Fishing Rodeo for Kids will be held at Roane County Park on Saturday, July 3, and is open to children as well as senior citizens. This year, the event is opening up to include those who are ages 65 and older. Registration will begin at 8:00am, and the fishing will begin at 9:00am. This event will also serve as a health and information fair for attendees. Trophies will be awarded for those who are ages 5-14, and to senior citizens over 65, and lunch and prizes will also be given. Participants should bring their own fishing rods, and bait will be provided.
