Held the 3rd Saturday in June.
The Women's Auxiliary of The American Legion pick, sort, boil (3 times), fry poke sallet up with scrambled eggs, bacon, green onions. They serve it on a plate with pintos, cornbread, homemade dessert, and a drink for $6. If you don't like poke sallet there will be food vendors with other choices.
This year will include historical vendors reenacting hand made master craftsmanship, live music and entertainment, Miss Poke Sallet Pageant, kids activities, and lots of vendors with quality goods.
