Harriman Police Department Drive Safety Course
Saturday, February 25, 2023 and
Saturday, March 4, 2023
Eligible Participants: High School Students
This course is designed to raise awareness of drunk/drugged driving, provide safe driving instruction, and promote safe driving within the community. The course will be broken into two parts, a classroom portion and a driving portion. A valid drivers license is not required to attend this course. The driving portion will be completed using golf carts in the parking lot of the Harriman Municipal Building under the close supervision of law enforcement instructors. Students need to dress appropriately for weather conditions since part of the instruction will be taking place outside. A liability waiver will need to be completed by the student's parent or guardian prior to attendance. Certificates will be provided upon completion of this course to all students who participate.
Class size 30 per session
