Event Description:
Roane County Habitat for Humanity is accepting donations for a garage sale to be held in May. All proceeds will be used to build the next house for a family in need in Roane County. The drop-off day is scheduled on Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the organization’s office located at 733 E. Race St. in Kingston. Pick-up may be available by contacting the office at 865-376-5770.
Items should be in good condition. Habitat cannot take broken items, clothes, mattresses, old TV's, used blinds, broken/unframed glass or mirrors, used faucets, garage doors or door openers, paint thinner or other hazardous/toxic chemicals, pesticides (liquid or powder), used/opened paint, used dishwashers, used trash compactors, or used water heaters.
