You are invited to join us for our Practical Nursing Open House at either our Harriman campus, 4:00 p.m., or our Loudon County Instructional Service Center, 6:30 p.m.
At TCAT-Harriman, you can become a Nurse in 12-16 Months! Our students may choose between full-time day (Harriman) or part-time evening (Loudon County) schedules beginning September 2018.
Practical Nursing education at TCAT-Harriman replicates the reality of nursing practice while preparing students with the knowledge to provide healthcare in a variety of settings. A portion of the program is presented in the classroom and skills lab; while the remainder of the training is spent in supervised and evaluated clinical experiences at local healthcare facilities. This framework provides the student the opportunity to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to fulfill the requirements to receive a diploma in Practical Nursing, be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN), and obtain an entry-level practical nursing position.
