SUMMARY:Polk Salad Festival
DESCRIPTION:This year's Polk Salad event will be held on Saturday\, June 17\, 2017 at the Rockwood American Legion Hall and center downtown area.  It will have two sound stages with music and entertainment throughout the day.  This year will also include a beauty pageant.  $6 price for the great food including poke sallet with scrambled eggs\, bacon\, green onions served with pinto beans\, cornbread\, dessert and drink.  Same great Ladies Auxiliary fixing the traditional faire.  There will also be master craftsmen demonstrating their crafts such as pottery on wheel\, spinning\, rope making\, weaving\, quilting\, painting to name a few!  An if you don't like poke then there will be vendors with other food choices.  Lots of vendors with lots of stuff to look at and buy.  Make plans to come and support the veterans!
