Creating and maintaining a culture of excellence requires the commitment\, support and dedication of the organization's leadership at all levels.\n\nIn 2013\, when Roane Medical Center (RMC) moved from its location in downtown Harriman to its present location\, there were many challenges to be addressed to ensure that critical medical services continued to be provided throughout the months of moving.\n\nThe most challenging was the continued accomplishment of its mission:  To serve the community by improving the quality of life through better health.\n\nTo accomplish its mission\, the RMC's leadership followed Nine Principles to building a culture of excellence.  The first principal:  Commit to excellence and build upon Five Pillars of Excellence: Service\, People\, Quality\, Finance\, and Growth.\n\nJoin Jason Pilant as he shares the Nine Principles and how they were implemented during the Roane Medical Center's "Journey to Creating a Culture of Excellence."
