DESCRIPTION:Join The Roane County Health Council for a "Chamber Chat"\n\n\n\nThe Roane County Health Council is working hard to make Roane County a Healthier Tennessee Community. The Governor's Foundation for Health and Wellness is a nonprofit\, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to enabling and encouraging Tennesseans to lead healthier lives. The Foundation brings together a statewide coalition of employers\, health insurers\, hospital systems\, local governments\, school systems and healthcare-focused foundations and community organizations to effect positive\, measurable change. Increasing the number of Tennesseans who are physically active\, promoting a healthy diet and reducing the number of people who use tobacco are the 3 initiatives of this program.
